How to Use our Haircare Bars

Step One: Shampoo

Once your hair is wet you can either wet the bar with your hands and create a lather by applying the shampoo bar directly to your hair. Once a lather has formed you should massage the shampoo into your scalp then rinse. You may need to repeat this step depending on the frequency of washes per week or if your hair is particularly greasy or dirty.

Step Two: Conditioner

Once your hair is sufficiently washed you can now apply the conditioner bar to your hair by running the bar over your hair. You may want to flip your hair over to ensure even coverage. You can choose to rinse it out, or leave it in for a leave-in-conditioner effect.

How to store and care for your bars

To extend the life of your solid shampoo and conditioner bars, keep them out of the direct stream of the shower between washes. Let them dry out on a window ledge, keep them in a container, or let them dry on a soap dish with a drainage insert.

Travel

Our shampoo and conditioner bars are super convenient for travel. No hassles with airport security, no leaky liquids. Make sure to them dry out between use, particularly in humid climates. Our custom aluminium travel tins have a removable drainage insert. They will never rust. Just pop them in your carry-on luggage for leak free, drama-free travel.

Curly Hair

Our haircare bars are suitable for the Curly Girl Method- our ingredients align with their guidelines to get the best from your curly hair. Many of our curly haired clients use the conditioner bar as a leave-in conditioner, with excellent results. After conditioning, tip your head over and squeeze out as much water as you can. Then let it dry naturally for a shiny well-formed curl without the crunchiness.

Shaving

Our conditioner bars also work well as a shaving bar and provide a smooth shave. Simply rub the bar on wet skin and shave as usual.
